Ganja (ガンジャ, Ganja) was a "suicide corps" of outcasts that travelled to The Abyss by Ganja Ships, with the aid of the Star Compass. Their primary goal was to reach The Abyss and settle in the "Golden City" waiting at the bottom. Their arrival in The Abyss predates the founding of Orth. On their voyage to The Abyss, they lost every ship apart from their flagship. The survivors delved deep into the Abyss, eventually reaching the 6th Layer, which they deemed as the "Golden City" for which they had
