The "Hunter Ghost" legend is an urban legend revolving around the 2001 action-adventure game Luigi's Mansion. The October 2001 issue of Nintendo Power magazine contains several pages promoting Luigi's Mansion. One of the promotional blurbs reads "When your ghoul-busting mission takes you to the trophy room, proceed with caution. If you meet up with the ghost of a hunter, he'll want to add Luigi to his collection." However, no such Hunter Ghost exists in the game, but that didn't stop rumors from
